The Battle has Been Won

Praise His holy name! For the battle is already won!
Praise His holy name! There’s victory in His Son!

Blood of Jesus, cover me,
Fill our eyes with light so that we can see!

Remove the scales, Pierce our hearts!
Let the road to Damascus be the start.

We see things with eyes of flesh, but our spirit knows there’s greater,
Against the kingdom of darkness- let us be crusaders!

Let everything that has breath shout! For the battle is already won!

The snare is broken! We have escaped!
He is our refuge! He is our hedge! He is our strength!

The chains have broken! The chains are gone!
The King on high is worthy! Sing your song!

Giants may surround us in every direction,
But He is our shelter! He is our shield! He is our protection!

Darkness can never extinguish the Light!
He is our fortress! Put up the fight!

Praise His magnificent name! For the battle is already won!

This battle is not against flesh and blood,
It’s the forces of evil against the One who sits above!

We fight not for selfish ambition, but only for His cause!
You are the Great I Am! Forever You will be! Forever You are!

We fight to shine His glory! We will not see defeat!
Put on your armor, warrior! We will not retreat!

He is worthy of all praise, for the battle is already won!

Stand strong against the enemy’s schemes!
Stand firm against the enemy’s regime!

Christ’s mighty power crushed the serpent’s head!
Whoever walks in His light will never be dead!

God gave us His Son so that not one of us would perish!
Holy Spirit, make us fearless!

Shout with all of your might!
He is Truth! He is the Way! He is the Light!

May the earth shake and the rocks cry out! The battle is already won!

Through our obedience we shall be the head and not the tail!
We shall mount up on wings like eagles- We cannot fail!

He created us knowing every page of our life’s book!
He gave us a calling and purpose that He will not overlook!

The battle has been conquered! He has accomplished the mission!
We win! Just stay in position!

Sing our celebration song!
Jump for joy! Praising all day long!

We shout! We shout! We shout!
We made it out!
The battle has been won!
